Is there anything better than a lazy Sunday spent lounging around your bedroom? Or the feeling of coming home to a cosy bed after a long wintery day?

If you don’t count these among life’s simple pleasures, then consider this your sign that it might be time to give your bedroom a makeover.

The best place to start is finding the right bed. Something like the Yoko Queen Bed by ELLISON STUDIOS. is a great building block for a space because it makes a modern statement with its spherical feet and timber bedhead, but its simplicity also means it’s easy to style.

Or, if you want to create more of a hotel-at-home-look, the Miranda Queen Bed by Trit House features an upholstered bedhead in a plush boucle fabric. You can even add in a lounge chair like the velvet-covered Chill Chair by Fenton & Fenton for an extra touch of luxury.

Next, every bed needs a bedside table, and every bedside table needs a lamp. The trick is to select pieces that complement each other in either colour, shape or texture to ensure the room feels harmonious and inviting.

The Hideaway Side Table by Eva with its classic design is a great base for the warm glow of an Akari 1A lamp from In Good Company. Together, the materiality of the timber and the tactile paper lantern nod to Japanese design in the most calming way. And we love how the ‘chubby’ silhouette of the Block Side Table by Fearon looks when paired with the similarly playful Nelly Wall Sconce by Jardan in matching green colourways.

Last but not least, investing in a new mattress can be completely life-changing, and the Luxe Mattress by Koala features seven multi-layered support zones designed to help give you the very best night’s sleep!
