In the 12 years since founding Maison Balzac, Elise Pioch Balzac has grown the brand from its small beginnings creating perfumed candles to now offering hand-blown glassware, soft matte bamboo serve ware, linen treasures and so much more.
Now, in exciting news for Sydney-siders, the brand has opened their third bricks-and-mortar store in the Strand Arcade, Sydney CBD.
The chic new boutique mirrors the charm of the heritage listed retail arcade with original black wooden floorboards, high ceilings and white walls, which are the perfect backdrop for Maison Balzac’s colourful collections.
In the window visitors will also find an eye-catching floral installation (refreshed every fortnight!) by long-time collaborator of the brand, Doctor Cooper.
‘The Strand Arcade is so deeply meaningful, it symbolises the best of European and Australian style together and to me it represents the climax of my journey from Paris to Australia over the last twenty years,’ says Elise.
