Lucy Folk originally studied gold and silversmithing at RMIT in Melbourne, before launching her label as a small jewellery line in 2007, when she was just 25.  In the 11 years that have passed since then, Lucy has slowly but surely built her brand into a globally-recognised fashion and accessories label, with its own distinctive aesthetic.

Today, Lucy Folk employs 25 people, with three stores in Australia and 44 stockists worldwide. She’s expanded from jewellery (which is still all made in-house, in Melbourne) to apparel, accessories and eyewear, and just this month she has launched an exciting new relationship with Net-a-Porter – woo!

I recently sat down with Lucy at her Melbourne headquarters in Windsor, to chat about the global growth of her brand, the challenges of working across two continents, and what’s next for Lucy Folk!
